Rembrandt Van Rijn was a master of light. Subtle denim fades and washes come to life in the light and play with the shade. Finishes or washes done by hand are a true form of art. This is where everything we do comes together. Only the best selvedge fabric, the best fit and the best finish are good enough to carry the name REMBRANDT.

When you see a selvedge jeans with little stripes and numbers at the botton, you’re looking at the “Nieuw Amsterdams Peil” edition of the REMBRANDT jeans. The 5 Years Wash, reflects a jeans that has been worn for 5 years straight. Back in the days, sails of ships were tanned to make them more durable. Before denim, the tanned cloth was used to make dungarees.

Grey selvedge is quite uncommon and rare. The Rembrandt is availabe in both RAW grey selvedge as well as in "Vintage Grey" both with the "Golden Bend" back pocket signature highlighted in white.
